We are a physician-run practice that focuses on medical weight loss and management, hair restoration and aesthetic services. What makes us different from other medical practices is that we are not simply marketing a service to sell a drug or procedure. As medical professionals with many years of experience, we believe in providing care that is backed by both science and safety with our patient's individual needs at the forefront. ​Our name reflects our brand values. We aim to provide an in-depth, elite quality of care centered on the self, as reflected by the “me” and “I” in “Mei”. The transliteration of our name in Chinese, 怡丽美(Yí lì mÄ›i), has a meaning of happiness and beauty.

Meet the Team
Dr. Pang Lam
Dr. Pang Lam is a quadruple board certified physician with 15 years of clinical experience. He graduated from SUNY Stonybrook with a Bachelor of Science. He graduated with honor from Ross University School of Medicine. He did his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Lam takes care of some of the sickest patients in the hospital. After many years in practice, it is apparent to him that the majority of diseases we suffer from can be traced back to our diet and lifestyle. He is passionate about changing the lifestyles of his patients, helping them transform and live healthier lives. Dr. Lam has received specialized training in medical aesthetics, medical and surgical hair restoration, and is board certified in obesity medicine.
Dr. Ji Lin
Dr. Ji Lin is a board-certified physician with 9 years of clinical experience. A lifelong New Yorker, she left the city to attend Dartmouth College and Penn State Medical School, after which she returned for residency at Mount Sinai West. A radiologist by training, she has a deep understanding of anatomy and is well-versed in the use of ultrasound-guided procedural techniques. She takes care of patients from all walks of life, many of whom suffer from complications related to chronic health issues and lifestyle choices. Though she is passionate about improving her patients’ quality of life by mitigating the symptoms of these complications, far better would be to prevent or eliminate them altogether. This she hopes to do for her patients at Elite Mei.
Ms. Crystal Huang
Ms. Crystal Huang is the operations manager for Elite Mei. Ms. Huang started out her career in finance and has extensive experience as a financial analyst. After taking time off from her career to raise a family, she gained an appreciation for how diet, nutrition, and physical activities affect a person’s health and wellness. She is pursuing specialized training and licensing in aesthetics and nutrition. She is passionate and excited to take what she has learned to help each and every one of her clients improve his/her health and look the absolute best.
Ms. Janice Lin
Janice Lin is the director of technology for Elite Mei. Janice has extensive experience working in the niche field of healthcare technology. She got her Masters of Applied Healthcare Informatics from Stony Brook University, where she studied how to bridge the everwidening gap between clinicians, patients, and technology. With her new degree in hand, Janice started her career at Mount Sinai Health System where she worked with clinicians, researchers, and administrative staff to deploy secure messaging systems, analyzed data to drive better health and research outcomes, and managed the deployment of different software to research staff across the health system to streamline their workflow. Since working at Mount Sinai Health System, she has worked in a managerial IT role for a small research company and as a product owner for a larger firm specializing in the development of research software. Janice is passionate about helping her newest team implement cutting edge technology at Elite Mei to better the daily lives of the patients coming to the facility.
